We stayed at La Colonial during our week in El Nido, and we highly recommend it. It's located outside the town, in a quiet area. However, Vanilla Beach is just 5 minutes away, and El Nido Town Square is less than 15 minutes away by scooter or tricycle. The surrounding vegetation is beautiful. The bar and restaurant are very pleasant, with relaxing background music. Breakfast and other meals are excellent and very reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious. The service is impeccable; the staff is very friendly, smiling, and attentive to guests' needs. On the day of our island hopping trip, they had prepared a packed lunch for us. They take care of everything, even arranging scooter rentals. If you're looking for a hotel near El Nido, don't hesitate.
Recently stayed at La Colonial Resort with my husband last week and we had the most amazing time. All of the staff is so wonderful and attentive, particularly Erika, Lucy and Gerald. They were all so kind and welcoming and made us feel so at home. They helped us book our island tour when we arrived and they were able to organize transport for us daily into town and even got us a van transport back to the airport on our last day. A special touch that I really appreciate was they gave us a night time sweet treat of traditional Filipino desserts every night we were there. The provided breakfast, which comes with the room, was always so delicious as well and truly felt so luxurious. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Lastly, the resort is a bit outside of the main town but the quiet and peacefulness of it all was worth the 10-15 mins ride. Also keep a lookout for the cats, so cute!!
We spent 3 nights at La Colonial. Everything was perfect ! Each member of the team, either at the reception, from the bar or in the kitchen : they are all so kind ! They can arrange everything for youif you want to rent a scooter or whatever. The breakfast options and the main dishes are very good. We really had such a doog time there. Thank you very much!
Gerald and the team there were brilliant and so friendly. Organised everything for our stay like scooter rental and airport transfer. El Nido can be busy so this is a nice oasis a short drive out.
If you Are looking for a Nice hotel with a Bit of a distance to the busy streets of El nido, this Hotel is for you. You can reach Corong Corong beach in about ten minutes by tricycle or Rent a Moped.<br>The rooms Are very spaceous, clean and Overall luxurious.<br>The staff is extremely attentive and helpful.<br><br>I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately on the last day the staff organized Transport to the Puerto Princesa airport and it picked us up 2 1/2 Hours Late and we missed our flight. Staff kept telling us that it is coming but I honestly believe the driver forgot about us and they put us into the next Transport. That was an unfortunate end to our stay.
